Career Highlights:

The most successful tag team in All Japan history, the Holy Demon Army dominated All Japan as they won six tag team championships and two tournaments over a seven year period. Against some of the stiffest competition any tag team has ever had to face (including Misawa, Kobashi, Akiyama, Hansen, Vader, and many others), Taue and Kawada stood out and rose to the top of the class. Winning their first All Japan World Tag Team Championship in 1993, Taue and Kawada would win their last in 2000, right before both left the promotion to join NOAH. Also notable about their run is that both had singles success throughout the 90s including Triple Crown Championships, showing that being in a great tag team does not stop a wrestler from also being a great singles wrestler as well. Putting on some of the greatest matches in All Japan history, an argument can certainly be made that the Holy Demon Army was the best tag team in wrestling history.
