A Toryumon graduate, Fukuda started his career as a member of Los Salseros Japoneses, called "Mango Fukuda." He worked in Michinoku Pro until 2006, when he left the promotion for El Dorado, changing his ring name to "Bear Fukuda." Fukuda also had a successful comedic role as Kamen Ranger Yellow in HUSTLE.
