2005 Recap:
A very well respected MMA wrestler (he has wins against Ken Shamrock and Gilbert Yvel), Fujita does not frequently tour with New Japan.  He did take part of the G-1 Climax this year, but was surprisingly defeated by Chono in the finals.  He then lost the IWGP Heavyweight Championship to Brock Lesnar on 10/8.  It is highly unlikely that Fujita will ever be a full time New Japan wrestler due to his success outside the professional wrestling ring.
