Regal will be best known by American fans for his great match against Chris Benoit in 1995, which is a rivalry that is still in place even 11 years later. Regal also wrestled on a few series after that in New Japan and even had a singles match against Great Muta (which you can see a clip of above). Even though he was a very solid technical wrestler, he never had a meaningful stint in Japan.
