Ryuji Walters was born in Japan, but grew up in the United States. He was trained by the Malenko family and debuted in the US in 1997. Walters moved to Japan in 2003, joining BattlARTS. Walters is still affiliated with the promotion, but is only occasionally wrestling in Japan.
